Long answers.
1. How did the postmaster help Lencho? How did he react to his help?
Ans: The Postmaster was very kind hearted man. He did not want to shake the belief of Lencho's faith in God. When the postmaster saw Lencho’s letter to God he laughed at him , but soon he realized the fact that he had a strong faith in God..Impressed by his faith, he decided to send some money to Lencho. He managed to collect seventy pesos by sharing a part of his salary and some amount from his friends for an act of charity and sent it to him.

When Lencho got the envelope he did not show any surprise because he had strong faith that God would send him money. After counting the money he became angry. He thought that post office employees might have taken 30 pesos from. it. He again wrote a letter to God requesting him to send the remaining thirty pesos. He called the post office employees a bunch of crooks, which was not justified at all as they were the people who had helped him. But it showed his innocence and firm faith in God.

Ans:Lencho was a farmer who completely depended on his farm field. He had his wife and cildren and they lived happily. Once his crops were destroyed due to stromg wind and hailstones. He was worried to think how his family would be protected till to get next harvest. He believed that only God would help him. He had firm faith in God, he believed that God would not let him go hungry.
Now-a-days we can't see anywhere such a faith in God. We think that God can't help us directly. Now-a-days people help with each other keeping up certain selfish motto. The word charity becomes an old coin in our life.  People are very much aware that nobody is willing to help others without any self interest. Lencho’s reaction towards post office employees was right and justifiable because he was very innocent. He strongly believed that God would not do such a mistake. He also believed that the post office employees would have taken 30 pesos
