("The Enemy" is written by an American writer Mrs. Pearl S. Buck. She is known by her Chinese name, Sai Zhenzhu. Her parents were Missionaries so that she could spend many years with them in China. She got Nobel Prize in Literature for her 'Biographical Masterpieces")

Sadao knew that his education was his father's chief concern. For this reason he had been sent at 22 to America to learn all that could be learned of surgery and medicine."
